For those that bought a house BEFORE getting married

Okay so FH and I bought our house almost 1 year ago. Now with us saving (or trying to) save for the wedding it seems like its just beginning to be more and more impossible. We have the mortgage payments, normal household bills AND on top of that all these darn payments for the hall and Vendors. I told Gerry that I would like to get a second job and just work Saturdays and Sundays. Im beginning to really stress because it seems like the money is gone even before we see it.
Has anyone else felt this way and how did you end up? I think I just need reassurance that it will be like this but in the end it will be just fine (at least I hope so anyways)

We are in the same situation!!! I toss and turn at night thinking about this. It's kind of like we are working backwards, most people get married then save for the house. From what I hear so many bride-to-be's worry about $$$$$ no matter what.

We are actually taking a HELOC to pay for our wedding - we plan to write off the interest at the end of the year.

It IS stressful!!! But you will have a beautiful wedding and you will have a leg up on most people because you already have the house!
