For those that had the votive placecards made for you

For those that had the votive placecards made for you

I am having a vendor make the votive placecards for me, but I'm a little worried, because I obviously have to have all the rsvps in before I send the list to her....she said I do this 2 weeks before the wedding. Is it realistic to assume that all my rsvps will be in 2 weeks before the wedding, and that the votive placecards will be done in time?

I did the votive placecards myself and I had to make a few changes right up until a few days before the wedding-but you should have the RSVP's two weeks before but there are always last min changes

Most likely you are not going to have all the RSVP's in by 2 weeks. I was making changes up until a week to a few days before and made the votive place cards that week.

We are doing the place cards and I sat down the other day and did the first draft of the tables... what fun...

So far since my rsvp due date I have already had 6 people call me to tell me they cant make it!

So I am going to do them next week Wednesday.

Ditto! I made mine myself too and had to make last minute changes. I actually enjoyed making them - took me about 5 hours to do about 110 of them.... I did them the week of the wedding. If anyone wants me to hire me to do them- FM me!

I also did them myself and was making changes down to the last minute. The only way I can see this working for you is if you have the vendor just make ones for people you haven't heard from yet and then pull out the candle if they say no. You can always make use of a few extra candles! Good luck!
