For those that have had their bachlorette parties - who pays for what?

Is the MOH supposed to plan this and ask each BM to chip in? What if some of the BM's are 16 and 19 years old and my MOH feels funny asking them to help chip in? Both of them have pt jobs.. I know it's out of my hands but I was just wondering what the ettiquette was. I don't want my MOH to have to pay for it all..I would not mind paying for myself if need be....What do you girls think?

What will you be doing? I have three sisters in my bridal party 18, 19 and 20. Looking for ideas..

I think my sisters will each be paying for themselves.

Depending on what you're doing I wouldn't ask them to chip in as much as everyone else because they won't be drinking and they probably won't be out celebrating with you all night like the rest of the girls.

All our bridesmaids were over 21, so they all chipped in for the limo and dinner and drinks
but the bride did not pay

If they are younger and not drinking, I would ask the other BM's if they minded paying a little extra to cover the younger girls. - maybe not their entire share (depending on what you are doing) but if you are doing dinner and drinks - have the younger ones pay a little less

I actaully planned my own bachlorette party but everyone just spilt everything equally (they paid for me). That's how we did for friends also. Even if the MOH planned it we just spilt the cost of everything.
