Help!! Yesterday I got permanent french nails .... and they hurt!!!! Ahhhhh
Did anyone get a perm french and then have their nails be super sore? It's so uncomfortable ... I'm not sure if I should just go back and get them off?? But I spent so much money.

Re: For those that have permanent french nails
The pain will subside. It's because it is a new set and they did a lot of filing and such. You can either soak your fingers in cold water or take a tylenol. It should be gone by tomorrow!

Agreed.
The first day I had them done they were a little uncomfortable. It definitely goes away.
I've now been getting them done for 5 months, and don't have that same feeling anymore.

It is just from the filing. Maybe they went a little hard. They hurt especially if you never had them before. Like evryone else said, it should go away in a day or two. Take an advil.
BTY-It is not only with perm french that you will get this, it is with any tips in general.

My nails hurt when I first got them put on. If anything take a tylenol or advil. The pain does pass after a day or 2.

Re: For those that have permanent french nails
I have had permanent french for 4 years now and I love it! I remember when I first had it was a little uncomfortable, but going back to have them taken off is going to hurt more..
Think of it this way. If you want them to take them off you have to soak them, and sand them, and soak, and sand. Once they are off, your nail will be all thin and weak and I am sure you don't want that for your wedding.
It's going to be an adjustment but I think you'll love them once you get used to it. I hope you feel better

Re: For those that have permanent french nails
If you don't have your nails regularly done with tips then it's perfectly normal to feel this way. Sometimes after a new set, I have pain in my fingers as well and I have had my real nails covered for now 5 years.
It will go away. Promise.

They use white tips instead of the clears ones, and then the acrylic goes over it, so the french shows through, instead of airbrushing or handpainting on the white line...
