What size bed in a bag or comforter set did you purchase? The lady at Sleepy's said we might have to go a size up because of the larger size of the mattress. We have a Queen. Any recommendations? I would really love to order online rather then run around to different stores and measure.

Different mattresses are different heights .. we noticed that when shopping for our mattress .. and also consider the boxspring .. is it standard or low profile???
We have a Queen mattress .. and right now have a Queen comforter on the bed .. and it's okay .. but a King would probably be a better fit. .. Also .. be aware of the actual measurements in a particular size of the comforter when shopping .. I think I have noticed that the measurements are not always the same for the size category .. I have noticed Queens that come in bigger sizes .. not sure where .. but I know I've seen it.
We have a standard boxspring .. and our pillow top mattress was probably one of the lowest in height of any we looked at. We were cautious about the height of the matress & boxspring together, because we have a sleighbed .. and didn't want the mattress being too high or too low .. and while the mattress is high .. it's a perfect high .. any higher would be too much .. any lower .. I don't think I'd like the way it would look in the bed frame.

I have a pillowtop matress (both sides pillow top) and I have a Queen comforter and sheets (deep pockets sheets). I was fearful it wouldn't fit when I bought the mattress but it fits fine. It covers the entire bed and matress King would work though.

For our Queen size mattress, I got a King flat sheet but a Queen fitted sheet. I should've gotten a King fitted sheet because the Queen is a tad too small. Our comforter is a King.

Ladies, thanks for all the feeback. I am going to measure my mattress tonight; it is better I have some numbers to work with.
I will probably end up going with everything King just to be safe.

Just wanted to add .. ours is a pillow top on both sides, also .. our sheet set is Queen .. deep pocket.

Our bed is a King so we didn't really have any options to go up a size.
However, when we had a queen, we had a king duvet on there and I liked the extra length it gave on the sides.

My bed is a Queen - pillow top - I had to buy the deep pocket sheets, Queen size of course. My Queen size comforter set fit fine - but I also have a bed skirt - if I didnt have the skirt I probably would have gotter the King size comforter.
