This is too funny but I am going to do it! How cool would it be to have an official letter from the pope, president and Martha!! I wonder what Martha's letter head looks like! LOL

ok thank god for my italian FFIL...

he said that normal letters get about 84 cents per envelope currently but it changes a lot...

he said for something heavier like a wedding invite it would be anywhere from $1.60 to $1.75 per envelope... but the best way is to take it to the post office and have them weigh it for you...just to make sure of course

god now i'm nervous b/c that's a lot of money per envelope and we are inviting a TON of people from his side that all live in italy-- and now the pope, this could be a lot of money-- i think pope might have to sit on the 'b' list for a while!

pigs222seal, you're too funny. When did you send it, did you get a response yet? I wonder if it will make it by the wedding (you and I are getting married the same weekend!).

My mother nags me about my level of religiousness so I think it would be hysterical to put his letter in the 8x10 frame that I bought them as a present!!!

yeah really!!!

and i heard the stationary is VERY nice... there was a lady on the news that turned 100 years old and when you do that the president sends you a congrats letter and it was SO nice looking!!! so the pope's stationary must be nice too

I actually saw a woman on TV once who talked about inviting God to her wedding. Like she mailed an invitation to Him and everything.
