? for those who are familiar with Westbury with Carle Place School District

I am from Queens and not too familiar with Westbury. We just put an offer on a house in Westbury, but in Carle Place SD. The house is big and beautiful and the neighborhood looks great.

Anyone who has grown up there? Lives there now? What are your feelings? Thanks!

My parents and I grew up in Carle Place and both my parents and I and my brother and sister attended all of the Carle Place schools. FM me if you want more details. Where in Westbury did you buy?

Where in CP is everyone and when did you (or DH) graduate? I guess the town really is small if there is such a showing of Frogs on this board!

I'm class of 97- CPHS.

You are the first person to tell me that Westbury schools are good. Everyone else makes a face and says NO. Thanks for your opinion.

Re: ? for those who are familiar with Westbury with Carle Place School District

i'm surprised to hear u say that too. everyone i know that lives around here purposely sends their kids to private school because they dont' want their kids in westbury schools. the only reason i would think people say the schools are good is because westbury is full of tenants who always pass the budget and also because they are state funded.
