cups sewn onto their dresses, how does this work.

I'm not sure I understand the question . . . but, I am having cups sewn in my dress. Basically, it is a piece of padding (like you find in a padded bra) that is sewn in so you don't have to wear a bra - it provides the 'lift' without the undergarment.
