for those who celebrate giving up something for lent(or trying to give something up) how many days is it???
.... I grew up where you were suppose to give it up from Ash Wednesday til Easter... My coworker says 40 days from ash wednesday which means you end a week before easter.... Im trying to figure out which one is correct by catholic standard... i was checking online and it says something about giving it up for 40 days, but that Sundays are excluded.......... We are all curious about it in the office for which way it actually is...
