For those who did a chocolate fountain...

Was it worth it? Did a lot of people use it?

Definitely worth it--everyone used it and raved about it!!!!!!!!! I think for us it was $5 per person? It varies by hall--some charge a rental fee and then a smaller price per person.

i dont think so in my honest opinion..ive been to a few weddings and not even noticed the chocolate fountain that they had there...if im at a wedding all im worried about are drinks and dancing..but you may have people that would enjoy that..its not for me but i hear they are great..kids love it!!

My hall wanted 595 for it. I didn't think it was worth it. Besides there is tons of other foods for everyone.

my hall wanted $750! but even if I got it from an outside vendor, I can think of many other things I would rather spend hundreds of $'s on.

SO worth it! We talked our hall down to $3.50 per person. Everyone loved it!

I didnt have one at my wedding but as a guest, they are definitely something I remember. Yummy!

www.xttras.com is running a special until may: chocolate fountain for up to 150 people, six dipping items and an attendant for 600 dollars.

I called East Wind and they told me their fee is $495 and then $1 per person. I am not really having kids though. My dad went to a wedding yesturday that had one and he said it was a big hit. It would fit me...I love chocolate!
