Fh comes home in a week (monday the 10th) and on the 12th we are doing our private pre-cana session. FH comes home for 2 weeks and our church does not start pre-cana sessions until May. I don't know why. But whatever. FH will be leaving for Iraq in April so he wont have any time to do pre-cana at our church. Especially since he wont be home until like a month or 3 weeks before our wedding.
The deacon said we can do a private session. but I forgot to ask about pre-cana and now i hvae waited like 3 days to get a call back from the church on this. The couple who is doing the pre-cana session is certified to do FOCCUS so they said to get the test and they will score it for us.
But I know people did it online and sent it in for scoring or could you print it off line?! But if you can't get it from your church where online can you get it??

We did FOCCUS before Pre-Cana, but we weren't able to do it online...we had to take the test one night and then go back a week later and review it together (friends of ours did it online, but that was because it was going to be reviewed during their Pre-Cana sessions)....then we did an Engaged Encounter weekend (Friday night to Sunday) at a Huntington seminary as our Pre-Cana, so it was much quicker this way....

I didn't know you can do it online, but it's something that's really quick. You answer the questions, they score it and you and FH review it together.
we are getting married at St Joes in Babylon. I called the pre cana woman for my church to get info but it takes her forever to get back to me.
We are doing a private pre cana session just FH and I and the couple but form another parish. She doesnt have the test because she hasnt done it in a year so she asked if i could get it thens eh could review it with us. So thats why i was wondering if we could do it online

Hmm, that's odd. The other church should be able to supply you with the questionnaire. Is your church requiring you to do FOCCUS? We had to with our church.

i don't know if they have it that u can do it online but we went two days in a row the first was to take the test, second was to get our scores and talk it over we took pre-cana a couple of months later.

yeah my church required us to do foccus. but we arent doing pre-cana through the church so the thing is the couple who is doing the private session hasn't done pre-cana for the church in about a year due to family issues and not having the time so they doesnt have paper work etc. and they asked if i could get a certificate for them to sign and the foccus test since they are certified to do that. but i just hope once the pre cana coordinator from my church calls me back she can get me the foccus test. i just knew people on here took it online and was wondering how you did that?! but thank you for your help!!!
