I decided to save a little and not have them plus I knew I had very few situations where i would actually need them to list more names than those already listed on the outer one. But now, I am stuck with what to do on those few situations where i have a husband and wife and two kids.
Should i just have my invite lady do a few inner envelopes for those situations or is their an easier way?
I was gonna say Mr. and Mrs. and Family but I dont want the wife thinking that means her kids from her first marriage as well since we are definately not inviting them.

Re: For those who did not have inner envelopes...?
Do the kids from the first marriage have same last name as the rest of the kids? can you do 'the smith family'?

Re: For those who did not have inner envelopes...?
Just put all the names on the invitation outside -- like:
Mr. & Mrs. George Jetson Ms. Judy Jetson Mr. Elroy Jetson 123 Astroid Avenue Space, New York
or you could do:
Mr. & Mrs. George Jetson Judy & Elroy Jetson
Just use two lines. It'll be easier than just making some inner envelopes.

How about sending the kids their own invites? That is what I did with my cousins.

not really sure why you need an inner envelope. maybe people get them to protect the invitation? can you just line the main envelope instead and not get a second envelope?

Re: For those who did not have inner envelopes...?
inner envelopes are used to specify who is invited
so outer envelope would be parents
Mr & Mrs. James Jones 123 Sesame St New York, NY 12345
Inner envelope would be all who are invited (including kids):
