whoops sorry! Ok I was talking to my baker and she said 300 for the cake. it is 10 a slice and we are having 30 people at the rehersal din.

I think that's a bit much. I don't know if I'm going with Black Forest Bakery, but over the phone, they just quoted me 275 for 75 people! That comes out to under $4 per person! I got a similar price from Audrey's. I think I have to go with one on the north shore, though, since my wedding is in Bayville. I still have to ask the place that my hall is having do our actual wedding cake. But 300 for 30 people sounds like a LOT!

no it isnt audreys it is a baker who specially works with wedding cakes. she is doing our wedding cake. i love her cakes

I haven't ordered it yet, but mine is costing $375 which includes delivery to Douglaston where our RD is being held.
We were going to pay 325, however, the hall through it in because FH requested the grooms cake to be a yankee symbol, and he is in Iraq right now...so the hall was sweet enough to throw it in...so mine is free

I was so excited to get DH a groom's cake and then I started hearing the prices so I ended up finding a favorite picture of the 2 of us, I went to Carvel and got a photo cake. I brought it to the restaurant the RD was going to be later that evening and they kept it in their freezer until dessert time. Everyone loved it!
