For those who didn't get their marriage license and are planning to go soon

I highly reccomend Hempstead (Thanks NYCChic )

In & out in 10 minutes it was awesome!

We also got the Newlywed kit with little samples of secret deodorant, pepto bismal, excedrin aspirin (the cool ones that melt on your tongue)...

They were so nice there too!

I hear some Town Halls are requesting you original birth certificate. So just call in advance and see what exactly you have to bring. I thought drivers lic. and passport was all you needed.

For anyone who is divorced, you will also need to bring your original divorce decree with you when you go to get your license.

The Islip Town Hall was quick too, only needed driver's license!

No your not legally married yet, until someone with the authority to marry has signed the paper ..
(someone asked that i think)
