we used 'swimmie' for a long time. then 'baby' after we saw it for the first time. like 'hi baby'...we still call her that. I am thinking of naming her that - KIDDING - like Baby in Dirty Dancing!

Since I was due on Thanksgiving, but thought I'd deliver around Halloween, I called them (I have twins) Pumpkin and Peanut (peanut sounded better than turkey! -- which I still call them today!

i call the baby my little one sometimes, other times I use the boy's names (since I think it is a boy) and I have used sooo many boy's names that my poor baby would probably respond to anything at this point. I also say lamb chop.

At first we called the baby Spec because it was so tiny. Then we referred to it as our little peanut. Now DH asks how 'she' is and I tell him that 'he's' fine. DH thinks its a girl. I think its a boy.

Ours was called Baby Zy. My husband nicknamed him that b/c I was explaining how it was just a zygote at the time.

We call the baby sac-o. Because when we first saw it on the u/s at 5 wks it was just a little sac. It just stuck.
