Re: For those who framed their Ketubahs...
I work at an art gallery in Cedarhurst, we frame ketubahs all the time. But it is very costly... Depends on the size of course- the bigger, the more $.. and also depends on what frame you choose, they all range. And also depends on how many mats you want... etc etc.. theres so many ways to get the prices up or down.
BUT if you are willing to spend the $.. we do museum quality work and all the materials we use will protect your ketubah foreverrrrr
FM me if youre interested

Why not bring it to AC Moore? I'm sure that you can use their coupons and they generally have framing specials.

Re: For those who framed their Ketubahs...
If you don't frame your ketubah until after the ceremony, do you just bring it rolled up to the ceremony, then roll it back up after it's signed? Do we display it at the reception at all? LOL, I just realized I have no idea what to do and I'm only 17 days away!
TIA!

What my friend did, and I thought it was smart, was to have it mounted where she had it framed and this way it was flat to sign and then she had it so it could be displayed at the ceremony, since it will already be signed and then it is mounted for the framers to finish the job...just an idea I think I am going with...

So then you'd just have to add the frame and the glass afterwards. That's a good idea - thanks!

Rogers Framing in Northport. They are really good at knowing what looks right together. Our Ketubah is huge also. It wasn't cheap but we used the non-glare glass and a somewhat expensive frame. I DON'T think that Michaels would have been cheaper for the same thing.

Re: For those who framed their Ketubahs...
for the day of the wedding, i bought a clear plastic box frame at ac moore so it would be able to be propped up during the reception and also so it would be protected from people touching it, etc.
we took it out of the frame for the signing and had it put back in afterwards for the ceremony and reception.
i dont know if you can tell from the pic, but this was our ketubah in the box frame propped up on a easel
