For those who had their ceremony at the reception site (esp. Meadow Club)

Did you do a rehersal there a few days before? i know there are brides are do rehersals a few hours before, but I don't want to see Kev before the wedding, plus, it's already early enough

I was just wondering if halls will let you have a rehersal as long as there aren't other parties already going on...

We're having our reception at the Meadow CLub and when we go to drop off all of the 'stuff' for the wedding (centerpieces, cake topper, etc.) we are going to practice our dance on the dance floor. We're not rehearsing anything else but they really shouldnt mind if you do, as long as nothing is going on in that room. Are you getting married there and want to do your rehearsal for the ceremony? If that is the case, I'm sure they will say OK but I would probably call them and schedule an appointment for a time when the room is available.

yeah - wanted to do a rehersal for the ceremony a few days before... hopefully we'll be able to do that - we're supposed to have it outside.

Usually, I don't know about Meadow, but at places where you have ceremony/reception, you can do a quick walk through the day of the wedding.

i think as long as no one is using the room is should be ok. I'd be really surprised if they said no. I mean, youre paying all this money - you should be able to rehearse!

My FH's brother was married at Chateau Briand this past May. We did two run thrus before the ceremony, 1 with the bride and 1 with the groom. So we everyone knew what they were doing.

DH did the rehearsal with the rest of the BP just before the ceremony. Since I only had to walk down the isle, I didn't need to be there.
