For those who had their showers...

For those of you that had your showers and you were registry peekers...when did you notice most of your stuff to go? Towards your shower date or way before? My wedding is November 9th and hardly anything is gone. I am getting real sad now. Not selfish but i want my big items! lol Just wondering when your big things started coming off..this may be such a dumb question but im entitled! :)

I noticed people shop the day before. I had a lot of last minute shoppers.

I had a few early shoppers and everyone else bought my gift the day before or even the day of!!!

i was a consistent peeker, alot of the big items came off first- however thats just the way my family is, my close family bought the biggest things and they are early birds- they already knew that they wanted to buy certain things and didnt want them to get bought. on the other hand most of my friends- went the week before ( this is what i devised becuase i peeked so much !!) maybe your fam/ friends are different - eveyone has different shopping habits.

For me, my registry hardly got stuff taken off so of course I was peeking and saw things coming off but it didn't tell me when the shower would be exactly. I was disappointed since guests kind of did their own thing instead of getting me what I needed badly, vacuum, iron, my pots and pans, gadgets, etc. I might of over registered but I had guests do their own thing too.
