For those who have already registered at Macy's....

Which Macy's has the largest houseware selection - Manhasset? Roosevelt Field? or Herald Square (Manhattan)?

Thanks!

My guess is the one in the city. They seem to be larger and have a wider selection from what i've seen.

We registered in Lake Grove.

My guess would be the same...the city would HAVE to have one heck of a selection i'd think!

Herald Square - DEFINITEY. But be prepared for all of the tourists.... it might be easier to go to a more local one....

I used to HATE going to work when i was across the street from the Empire State Building...there were times you couldn't even move there were so many people.

Glad I work out east now

i did my registry online. the good thing is that if you're worried about what it looks like in person...their zoom feature is retardedly accurate and clear. I do plan to go into a store to refine it but I'm happy with it so far.

Do you think it will be crazy busy around 7:00 on a weeknight?

I did most of Fortunoff and BB&B online but Macy's has some items that I'd like to check out in person. You are right though - online is definitely easier and more convienent

I don't think it would be too bad during the week though I'm not sure since we're still basically in tourist season....during the off season there were times the streets were empty at 8.

Hands down Herald Square, just don't go on a Wednesday~and do go a day you have lots of time, tourists don't really go to the Cellar and housewares, for the most part they are all over designer clothes, fragrances and bags since those items sometimes can't be purchased overseas or they are just marked up too much~
