I am looking for reviews/suggetions on tour groups for this trip - i know alot of people drive it but for a few reasons we cannot. Ive heard mixed reviews about the tours and am trying to get as much info as possible.

i did the road to hana!!!! it was AWESOME!!!! and BEAUTIFUL!!!! we joined one of the van tours b/c driving yourself will make you go crazy. there are like 50+ one way , very narrow bridges on that road. the drivers will bring you to all the sites worth seeing too!

I did the Road to Hana too, but I didn't do a tour group. There's a CD I believe its called Road to Hana and it plays hawaiian music, tells you the history of the places and lets you know how far it is to each place (driving wise). I thought it was fantastic. We also paired it with one of the guide books on where to eat along the route and things to do. Tons of fun!!

I went a few years ago and it was awesome. im going back for my honeymoon.
another place you might want to check out is the black rock beach. it was cool there too. we took surfing lessons also.
so many fun things to do

we did the road to hana it was booked through our hotel....It was fun included lunch bring water!!! Your right I would never want to drive that road! Hope you have fun though
