FH and I were originally gonig to Sandals WHitehouse in Jamaica for our honeymoon. Well my parents must have heard me mention that if money was no object, I would rather go to one in St. Lucia, the Bahamas, or Antigua.
Well, when I came home from work today they told us that if we paid the $3500 that Jamaica was gonig to cost us then they would pay the rest to any resort we wanted!
Now, I have no idea which one to pick!! I still want to keep it under $4500 (without air) because I know my parents are struggling as it is but they really want us to enjoy our honeymoon.
So what are your opioins on the best Sandals resort? TIA!!

i have been to bohemian 2 times and the grande in St lucia 1 time.. the bahamas is the best! (FH's mom is a certified Sandals Travel agent .. so we we have had the opportuinty to go to both!)

actually Sandals Whitehouse is my current Fantsay Honeymoon, Why would you want somthing else? I just started researching. FH has ultimate decision, I will suggest 3

FH's mom said WHitehouse is really nice but about the same as St. Lucia. you cant leave the resort (so ive been told)

I just dont like the reputation that Jamaica in general has. But being that money was our main concern it was the best we could get.

well ive never been and totally going on what I have been told.. but places like mexico, Jamaica and Dominican you only stay in the resort. Its been said its unsafe to leave the resorts.
so prob not a good idea to go sightseeing.
St Lucia wasnt much better.. we choose not to leave the resort. we heard stories about people planing things in your bags and etc.. so we just didnt take the chance.

when we went to st lucia last year, we were invited to a dinner with the manager of the hotel with some other signature Sandals guests. We went because we were with my FIL's and she is a TA and felt obligated. But i did get my 2nd leather sandals!! woohoo hehe
Well anyway, we met this couple from England. They have been to Sandals resorts 12 times. They have been to several of the sandals locations and said that St. Luica didnt impress them very much. We had the same feeling. They too liked the Bohemian much better.

Sandals Royal Bahamian is excellent, but Whitehouse is supposed to be excellent too. We stayed at Royal Bahamian for 5 days and did NOT want to leave. We are going to Whitehouse for our honeymoon.

sandals grand bahamian is the only 5 star sandals and has been written up as the best sandals there is

I heard St Lucia was the best out of all of them...and they just opened a new Sandals there too...so there is alot more to do....I think I am going there on our honeymoon too!

i actaully found that there was more going on in the bahamas. They were better about telling you what goes on at night, and the night life was better. We had the best time watching the game shows there and etc.
although st lucia had better water stuff to do. included is water tubing (pulled by a boat, people take turns), water skiing (people take turns), and i think snorkeling trips.But the spa in st. lucia was really nice. I think the bahamas has one too but we never tried it.
We like that in the bahamas you can go out at night to the casinos (and we are not big on gambeling) when there wasnt anything of interest at night at the hotel. St lucia there arent casinos so you are sort of stuck there.
its really hard to explain but we truly enjoyed the bahams better than st. lucia.
