to postpone the date at the hall, how does this work? like can you change the date at any given time even like 6mo ths before without a problem?

Depending on what your contract says-but I think most halls you can do it up to 6 months previous...I think

I agree it does depend on your contract. We changed our date (from 6/29 to 6/25) with no problems, we just had to pay more $ per person b/c we went from a Thursday to a Sunday.
