The hotel we might book for the block of rooms has a bar and we're kicking around the idea of an after party where I'd probably want to change into something shorter and sexier. Ideas? Suggestions?

no suggestions on the dress. but we def doing the after party at the hotel bar. the wedding ends at 9, so its gonna be partaaaaaaay! I would just check 1st what macys and lord and taylor has to offer

Why don't you try the Betsey sample sale? Seriously, so many of her dresses are a little too poofy/sparkley to get away with on most days. On your wedding day, bring on the poof and sparkle!

Ooo I LOVE the first 2!! Meanwhile, I bought 4 dresses at Marciano today. I shouldn't be allowed to shop there anymore! I'm keeping an eye out for BCBG and BEBE even tho, you're right, they never have white!

I got a second Jessica Mcclintock off ebay for 70 bucks. I got a long dress but mermaid (my first is A line). Ima gonna put it on after first dance before I sing to FH !!!Then DANCE!
I am having an after party in my room and think I am gonna wear sweats at that point lol

How do we all feel about this? I'd probably get it shortened and ask if the slit could be less dramatic. Also prob in white or ivory. Is it too much though? Tacky??
