FH got offered a job in Holtsville out in Suffolk. He lives upstate and I live in Queens, NY. I don't want to leave Queens, but he wants to be as close to Holtsville as possible. We are thinking maybe Nassau as a compromise but I don't know a lot about Long Island. Are there any areas around Holtsville or close to the LIE throughout the island where there are nice affordable apartment complexes? please let me know some living suggestions ASAP!
Maybe Deer Park.....its about 20 minutes or so from Holtsville.
I live in Holbrook which is right next to holtsville and its a great area... Our condo was bigger and more inexpensive than anything we could find in Nassau so I imagine renting would be cheaper as well... You will miss the city life though... Ive been out of the bronx for almost 2 yrs now... and lived 1 1/2 yrs in farmingdale... Farmingdale is a good option bc you have everything you need there and its only like 1/2 hr from the city
yes towards that area, you could def find something affordable Nassau area is more expensive!!!!
