NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner of the largest chain of television stations in the nation, plans to air a documentary that accuses Sen. John Kerry of betraying American prisoners during the Vietnam War, a newspaper reported Monday.

The network has ordered all 62 of its stations to air 'Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal' without commercials in prime-time next week, the Washington Post said, just two weeks before the Nov. 2 election.

Thought it'd be nice to name my topic with (politics) to be fair.

this could be the main reason why the deregulation of FCC rules are a bad thing

i wonder what republicans would be saying if a media outlet did this with a Michael Moore movie

This just cracks me up..

It's ok for michael moore to give out his movie for free.. but this free documentary will probably be bashed by kerry supporters.

WHO CARES?

Most of us already have our own opinios about Kerry and Vetinam. This won't change much.

i think there is a difference between moore giving away his movie.. people can choose to watch it or not- versus giving away free television air time- which is something the candidates have to pay millions for.

i personally think both of those tactics are wrong and don't belong in the election.

I personally have never seen one Michael Moore movie.

I think if they sold do this, they should also be allowed to broadcast Fahrenheit 9/11, but that's just my opinion. Also, this is the same media outlet that REFUSED tro broadcast an episode of nightline where the names of the soldiers killed in iraq were read. The outlet is a known republican backer. I think there should definitely be equal time allowed for another documentary if this is put on the air.

However, stuff like this si going on all the time. Yetserday i saw a Bush Documentary on CNN, and it said nothing negative about him, which could bring us back to the 'if it only shows one side is it a documentary?' debate. i just wondered how they were allowed to do that.
