For those who purchased dresses at WEdding CENTER of Commack. . .

Did you get your alterations done there?
If so, how was the seamstress?
If not, why not?

Thanks everyone, I'm trying to decide on what to do.

I got them done there ... they were a little pricy. Just try not to go for your first fitting on a Saturday.. it was crazy in there and I had to wait for a least an hour...and the seamstress was a little rushed because there was too many people. I went for the other two at night and it was so nice and the woman was really nice...but they were expensive...
but they were really good...

I got my BM dresses from there..i think they were capped at $50.oo which is good, no one complained about the pricing, but you know what they try to do...the measured you, and they *tried* to make my girls get dresses like 2 sizes bigger luckily my girls had a little more sence, like some parts on you are bigger than the other but there is no reason to go 2 sizes bigger.

my sisters had their BM dresses altered there. es they were a little pricey, but thought they did a great job. They had the best prices, that no one was able to beat.
Try to go during the week at night...less quiet.

Liz - I used to work there and they do a good job. I got my dress there and are having the alterations done there as well. They definitely do a great job on alterations, although I would have to agree the weekends are crazy! (Although my Bridesmaid got hers on Sat morning first appt and it was fine).
