For those who registered and dont have a place with FH yet...

What color scheme were u going with?

I did all stainless steel appliances and kitchen things, and did neutral for bath things.

I did all sorts of different colors for kitchen appliances...I'm tired of neutral everything and I figure as long as they're primary colors, they'll work together

For plates I did light blue and white pattern, and I'm doing the same for bed sheets and bath towels

we did the same thing...all stainless for the kitchen and like beige kitchen towels ...we didnt do the bathroom or bedroom stuff yet but most likely will be neutral colors as well

kitchen we did stainless steel and black.

and for the bathroom we went with blacks/ grays and whites.

I picked some pink appliances! It goes with my theme and I always support Breast Cancer organizations. The rest are stainless steel and I also did a neutral theme for the bathroom even though I knew the color.

You can go with neutral colors to play it safe.

kitchen is is green, blue and brown and we have stainless steel appliances and canisters.

these are our kitchen towels to give you an idea of the colors/

bathroom has clear bath ensembles so we dont really have a set color scheme. right now its blue.

our bedroom has brown and white walls. so we have a neutral color scheme going on. the furniture is brown and our new bed set looks like this

we havent picked out anything with a pattern in our registry, except for our china and accessories.

neutral is always best in the beginning I suppose.

we live together now and we are going to buy a house after the wedding so we are going to be registering for a place that we have no clue what it looks like. We are just going to register for the necessaties like mixers, white towles, sheets stuff like that

very contemporary style and earthy tones. For living room we picked alot of colors in chocolate brown, green and burnt orange with natural tones and modern sleek designs. For bedroom, chocolate brown and blue with some earth tones. For bathroom we are using green and cream, but also got one set of towels in yellow to alternate.

For the kitchen, our china has no patterns, not even everyday dishes, except one sushi styled plates with a very light design. Appliances stainless steel. Then our napkins, place mats and greens, browns and beige, we also have a bamboo abacus for asian themed styles, which we'll alternate. Then a few items that have alot more color so it can stand out

We didn't have a place when we fisrt registered. But now we do but we did put all stainless and neutral colors. But we did put light blues for our comforter and some towels.

We registered for white items because we had no clue where we would end up. The house we're in contract with has all new white appliances. If they were stainless steel I would have switched to match.

I did the same as you - stainless steel and all neutral - that is my taste anyways so its good with me.
When are you going to start looking for a place?

i did stainless steel as well. i havent picked out my bathroom items yet. i mhoping that i'll find a house before my shower....although i have no idea when my shower is, lol!

stainless tell and chrome stuff.. i did caphlon pots.. beccause the stainless i wanted is out of stock.. so it kind of matches with what i have going..

i did all neutral colors w/ vases and did crystal as well.. china is neutral as well..
