For those who used votive placecards????

Hello,

I want to do votive placecards and originally thought that we would have them put out and lit after cocktail hour. My FH and I are concerned that it will take quite a while for ~ 200 people to find their candles and their seats.

For those that did votive placecards how when did you put them out and did you have a problem with time?

I just don't want our guests to be annoyed. The other option is to have them unlit for people to pick up as they come in and have the lit at the reception...???

we had them out during cocktail hour untlit, then they lit them abotu 20 minutes before the end of cocktail hour... we alsohad this poem to go with them...
