For those who went to Maui and Kuaui...

Any recommendations on which Luau to go to??? Pros....cons....

Also- did anyone do a ' romantic dinner on the beach'....if so...where and if you don't mind me asking...how much was it???

One hotel quoted me $800 per couple today...YIKES!!

i heard the luau at the hyatt in maui is very nice. thats where FH and I are going. we got a great price thru our travel agent, way less than $800 - that is ridiculous!

We went to the Smiths Family Luau in Kauai and it was great. They had a whole lot of food, plus an authentic luau show at the end. Before you eat, they welcome you and give you a shuttle tour of their grounds and all the many different birds and trees.....it's beautiful!

i second the old lahaina luau in maui - obviously wasn't there for my HM, but on vacay a couple of years ago. my cousin lived there and had been to most of them, said this one was one of the best.
