for those who will have menu cards ....

How will you have it in the place setting?

I am guessing it can either be just on the plate. wrapped in the napkin or standing up using a place card holder.

Not sure what to do? Any suggestions??

You probably can't do it on the plate bc most RH's, the moment guests walk in the appetizer is already on the plate so there will be food on the plate before your guests even go in there. To do it standing up can be tricky sometimes bc too many things be in the way and will get too cluttered, ive seen rh's do this but doing only about 3 or so menu's per table

Here is a picture of one table at my wedding, they were doing this before guests came in so you can see the appetizer is on the plate

and i just had menu's next to the plate, you can see in the other pic

the tables were BEAUTFUL!! What you said makes a lot of sense!
