Are you wearing silver jewelry? I found a necklace that I loved but I dont think it will look right with an ivory dress, its silver and sparkley. I love it but do silver and ivory look ok together?

Re: For those with Ivory dresses???
My dress is not exactly ivory, but not white- it is called natural. The beading has some silver in it. i am wearing white gold or silver. I think silver and ivory look nice together!

I was wondering myself. I think silver and ivory will be ok together maybe if you incorporate a silver headpiece. Best thing to do is try it on with your dress.

Re: For those with Ivory dresses???
my dress was ivory, but the beadwork was silvery w/pearls. So my accessories were silver/white gold & pearls, not gold. Looked great.
also, since my e-ring, and wedding band are platinum, I didn't want to wear yellow gold (I rarely do).
I have the same dress as you. Doesn't it have some silver in the beadwork?

My dress was also called natural - not exactly ivory, not exactly white. I wore pearls with mine and it looked fine.

Re: For those with Ivory dresses???
I wore a ivory gown. All of my accessories were silver/white gold.
My dress was very detailed. I wore a silver headpiece that had rhinestones and peals and crystals (sparkly). I wore a sparkly silver necklace. White gold and diamond tennis bracelet. My platinum/white gold e-ring and wedding bands. And white gold diamond studs.
I thought it looked fine together. my dress shop originally told me to go with yellow gold (because of the ivory) but since my wedding e-ring was platinum..I went with all silver. Glad I did.
Here's a picture where you see the necklace and headpiece

My dress is light ivory, but the bead work on it has like a silverish type of thread... so silver for me!
