Are putting them up for the wedding? And if so are you putting up everyone or just the out of towners?
I have 3 girls who are out of town (more than 3 hour drive) or out of state and 2 girls who are local -my family is afraid if they put up the three (for 2 nights - rehearsal dinner and wedding) that the other two nose will be put out of joint.

Most of the women in my BP are out of towners but we blocked rooms for them. They don't mind staying at a hotel or paying the cost and I certainly don't expect any gifts from them, b/c the dresses along with the other expenses is enough for them to handle.

I still don't expect gifts from my BP - but since the rehearsal dinner is Friday and wedding sat they really have to stay two nights and I just couldn't ask the LD girls to do that- it is just too much to ask with everything else. My family was concerned at whether the local girls will be upset that I am not offering them a hotel room too. (one lives 2 miles away the other 15 mins)

I'm not paying for the OOT members. They will be staying at my house the night before so they only will have to pay for one nite at the hotel. So far I haven't heard any grumbling from them about this.

My entire bridal party are out of town guests, and I'm not paying for their hotels. When one of the girls from my BP got married, she didn't pay for any of our rooms either.
I did help out with the cost of their dresses.

My out of towners (3) are all from LI so they will stay at their mom's! If they want to stay at the hotel the night of they will pay for themselves.

I wish I could. However to try and defray some costs my mother payed for two of my out of town bridesmaids dresses. Hopefully they will be able to find family members to stay with. We haven't figured all that out yet!!

Christine - I know one of your local BMs, and I know she'll be fine with not getting a hotel room.
Worse comes to worse, just don't tell them you're paying for the hotel rooms for the other girls. That's between you and the OOT girls.
I'm not paying for any of my girls to stay in the hotel, and they're cool with that.

SHE is NOT the one I am worrying about. It is the other one - who has caused nothing but trouble for months.
And NO I can't do that because as you know ONE has a big mouth and the others might let it slip

Back on topic - have you thought about maybe consolidating girls into rooms? Such as putting two in a room? That could save enough to make it economical to put the other two up. Just a thought.

I have one girl that lives in NYC, so I'm jsut going to have her sleep over my house. I definitely will need her there for support.

8 out of 13 are from Out of Town. We are not paying for them to stay in a hotel. I did pay for one of my BM dresses though b/c of the expense of flying down to NY.
