For those w/kids tables...

what are you putting out for the kids?? I have some things. but i need ideas still. im trying to limit the candy intake since i know they will be off the wall and i dont want to be the one to blame for that!! i bought these really cute pails and i wanted to fill them with things and leave out on the table rather than a centerpeice. i have 2 filled and 3 to go.....thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated!!

on another note...does anyone have any great websites for candy? im looking for those candy sticks, they are kinda old fashioned. tia!

I am making gift bags for the kids I went to Michaels and got coloring books for a $1.00 and then Walmart and got a pack of 8 rayons for .82 cents. In addition, then I got for the girls, at Michaels, these pink door hangers that say something like Future Queen, and I am looking for some more little things to put in their bags. I also am stencling their names to the outside of their gift bags.

For candy u can try Dylans Candy Bar for old fashion stuff, I know they can be a bit expensive but they have everything

I think thats a great idea, also crayons and coloring books of snow white and the prince......you can fill up a pretty glass container with crayons in your wedding colors, also m&m's in your wedding colors in a tall glass container with a scoop for the kids and little bags for them to put the candy into.. all depends on how old they are.......We are not having kids at our wedding, except for my godson/nephew who is 10 as I purchased a silver engraved yo yo for him and my nieces who we purchased makeup mirrors with there names engraved it also has swvork. Crystals in
them...

I ordered activity books, placemats and foam frame kits from Oriental Trading Company and I got a cute little box with a bride and groom to put everything thing in. I am also going to put a disposable camera in the boxes for the older kids and some candy. Oriental Trading also has candy.

I went to a christening where there 30 kids!! They had a table with coloring books, foam pieces and glue sticks, sticker back foam pieces, wooden pages with dinosaur cutouts to build your own, foam door hangers to decorate and foam pages too. She got everything from Michael's and AC Moore. The kids were occupied the WHOLE party! It was a really good idea!

It also depends on the age of the kids--most of the ones at my wedding will be a bit older, so I'm thinking of some puzzle books, Mad Libs, even cards. Amazingly, kids still love Mad Libs!

the kids are different ages. they start at 3 and go to 12+.......im not planning on doing anything specific for the 'teens'.....just the littler ones who cant sit still. i have activity books and individual boxes of crayons. i was thinking of candy but maybe just the necklaces or something-im worried about choking hazards.
