For Whom the Bells Toll ~ Hemingway

I just finished it...and I thought it was great...I was never a Hemingway fan...but I am going to pick up a few more of his books...

That was one of the only books by hemingway that I liked. The others I not only did not liked, but most of them I despised.

DON NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ

I was a bit disappointed about robert dying...but I guess that Pilar saw it in his palm...

the one thing I didn't like was the attraction btw Robert and Maria...I didn't feel it...she seemed a bit on the annoying side

Yabbo there is the most wonderful short story written by Hemingway called Hills like White Elephants. One of the most poignant pieces I have ever read. You should pick it up.

I'll look for that...

the book also came with To Have or Have Not...so I'll try that one to see...I also have The Sun Also Rises on my bookshelf somewhere...that I never read...
