For you girls registered for Mikasa-check this out

hey girls

just thought i would share something that i found out - before our e-party i registered for my casual chine at fortunoffs (Mikasa - Mesa Verde) - I received all 8 sets that i registered for.....

recently i thought it would be good if i got 4 more place settings - since i had closed my fortunoff registery and was reregistering at macys - and they had them there - i figured i would just add them to my registrey

was i suprised to learn that the dishes that were $39.99 a set at fortunoffs were $59.99 a placesetting at macys.........

so i went on the miksas website - and their everyday selling price for my dishes was $29.99 a placesetting....

so i ordered them online - i even found a coupon code to enter (DISCOVER) and got an additional 15% of fmy order..

so now i have 4 placesettings - with S&H and tax coming to my house for 126.00...... 50 dollars cheaper than fortunoff and allmost 150.00 less than macys

can you believe that?

Yeah, I noticed that my place settings were $20 cheaper than BB&B. I am thinking about returnthing them if I get them ordering from Mikasa directly.

they are defiantely cheaper on the website and if you do order - go to yahoo.com and just type in mikasa + coupon ------

and there comes a list of links that have coupon codes you can enter when you are buying your dishes to get money off - mine was 15% - but i was only buying 4 placesettings...(Coupon Code = DISCOVER)

i think there were other codes for better deals if you spent more

Mikasa also offers 10% off discount for military members too. i just found this out I can't wait to use it.

Be careful when ordering from Mikasa directly.....

Sometimes they are selling defective items. Now, I know you are saying how can a plate be defective?! But, when I say defective I'm talking in the sense of the pattern. Sometimes, the pattern may not be on the piece correctly or a scratch may be through it. Sometimes its lieka discount store rather than Mikasa.

But, if they are in perfect condition CONGRATS!! on saving a crapload of money, I'm always down for savings!

Oh, and btw, no offense to anyone registered at Macy's, but they are completely overpriced, understaffed, and inconsiderate I enjoy my Fortunoff registry much more.
