It's your shower, wear whatever you want! I've seen girls wear white, off white, their wedding color, and something totally different! Whatever you love!

Whew! My MOH asked me if I could give her an outfit to hold for me for my bridal shower. My girls want me to be surprised but at the same time prepared with an outfit. I only was asking because I saw some pics posted on LIWeddings of engagement parties as well as bridal showers and everyone ive seen this far is wearing white. Very relieved its up to me. Thank you ladies!

No, it's your shower! Wear what you feel best in! I've seen girls wear white, but also wear colors that go with the shower theme, or their wedding theme.

I always seen them wearing white however I never understood how that worked out since apparently bridal showers are a surprise (which was news to me...lol). I am curious how mine is going to work out since I will be out of state.

I would say you can wear whatever you want! I probably won't wear white. My shower is in March (I requested no surprise lol) and I get very pale in the winter, so white doesnt look too good on me. So I might go with Navy (my wedding color) or something in the blue family. Whatever you feel comfortable in!

I wore a white maxi dress but there are no rules, my friend wore a green dress to her shower. I tried on dresses of other colors but I actually liked the maxi the best! Check out lord n taylor they have great dresses.

I agree with other girls that you can wear whatever you'd like. Personally I think it's always nice when the bride wears white or a color that coordinates w/ the wedding colors.

Yes I agree with wearing whatver u want!! My shower was a complete surprise and I was wearing all black! lol. It was a nice outfit so at least I was dressed up lol. As a coincidence I happen to buy my bridal shower dress (which was a teal color) 2 days prior to my surprise shower. My mom wanted to get my fiancé to get it out of the house to bring for me to change into but he didn't know how to do that without me seeing. But honestly i was so excited and overwhelmed and happy (lol I can keep going) that I didn't even think twice about my outfit once I was there.Welcome New Vendors
