We know someone that's a manager at a Ford dealership. He suggested leasing. What Ford car do you have. Do you like the car

Re: Ford cars

the only Ford I had was a Mercury Cougar (built by Ford). it was a money pit! every week something else needed to be fixed. I had that darn car towed more than any other car I had combined. you name it, I had to fix it! fuel pump, radiator, altenator, etc. and I only had for a year & a half.

FH on the other had an Escord many yrs ago and raved about how it never needed anything.

Check out Edmunds.com. That will give you all of the reliability ratings, etc.

Re: Ford cars

My mom has an Escort and I WISH the thing would die because its little (IMO not safe enough) and the outside is falling apart etc. Theyve had it hmmm... about 15 years and I believe she said theres about 300,000 miles on it, but it wont die!! SO I assume thats good. I never owned a ford though.

I've heard that GM just isn't what it used to be, but I'm no expert. Check out Edmunds.com. That will give you all of the reliability ratings, etc.

Ford is not GM

FH just bought the 2005 mustang saleen

He loves it

I had an expoler and my Dad has the new one- great truck- cheap insurance- it's rated the best of SUV's- it's like an 8
while the pathfinder is like a 20- it makes a huge differnce in the price of insurnace

Re: Ford cars

i have a 97 mercury sable (made by ford), so does my father.

My sister drives a 99 Ford taurus, and Mom has a 99 Ford Expedition.

My FFIL just bought a new 2005 Mercury Montego, and is extremely happy, and FMIL drives a 2000 Grand Marquis.

All ford products, all great, reliable cars. We're very happy with them!
