FH and I are taking our engagement pics this Sunday and the salon I usually go to in the city is closed (grrrr!). I'm willing to go into the city but I live in Forest Hills and would love to just get a blowout locally.
Any recommendations???
I've been to Micciche Salon on Austin St and got the worst haircut of my life there so I won't be going back

i dont know where to go in forest hills (i live there too) but another one to cross off your list would be Renegade Salon (on austin street). HORRIBLE haircut last month. I havent been able to wear my hair down since then. If you do go there i would stay away from Olga.
I hear Lorenzo at M salon is good (thats the new name of Michiche) if you are willing to give them a second chance.

It's not in Forest Hills, but Maspeth on Grand Ave. It's called Celtic Hair Design and they're excellent!
ETA: They did my hair for my wedding and it was gorgeous!

Definitions on Metro... they used to be on Austin Street... my mom goes there all the time... and ive been there a few times
