Does anyone know of where I can find their dresses online? I ordered a dress and tried The Knot but they seem to have every one but mine Thanks laura
No, I don't get a commission for giving him good reviews. He was my favorite vendor to work with and he was less expensive then most.
Good Luck!!

Thank you I did finally find it-and realize that I hate it in the pictures but love it in person Go figure Laura
I would ask him about this. Is he charging more for one hour as opposed to 3 hours and how does he determine his pricing? You can also mention my name.
Good luck. Marisol

Thanks-- Everyone says that most brides dont end up picking the dress from the ones they like in mags-- but I cant believe how much I don't like the catalog shot-- regardless I am just glad the searching is over--now on to bridesmaid dresses!!! Laura
I am really glad you didn't see it in the pic an change your mind. You know the dress once you put it on. Mags are great for ideas, but nothing is like trying it on for yourself.
Best of luck to you!!!

I am thinking in the blue family--did you look online at all-- I was looking for a site that allowed you to narrow the search the way that you can for bridal gowns but haven't had any luck Do you know of any good sites where I won't have to look at every dress from every designer? Laura
When I said that I was just another loser bride, I was illustrating a device caleed "SARCASM" to show just how uneducated and foolish Beth & Cindy sounded. You need to play into their ignorance and not take what they say so seriously.
Have you ever heard the saying, "Take what you want and leave the rest behind." No one missed the point. If anything this only proves what Cindy said about petty issues is true. This illustrates how I can say one thing and you take it to mean something else.

Thanks I am going to check dessy right now 2 of my bridesmaids are getting married right after me(June & Aug) so keeping it affordable would def be key--- Thanks so much for your help Laura Where and When are you getting married?
Joe, I am also planning long distance . LI native now living in Virginia. I don't have a limo co. yet either , but as for the brides mother walking her down the aisle, my friend had her mother walk her down since her and her father were estranged. It was very moving .
ALOT OF BRIDES HAVE SITTER FOR THAT REASON. BUT IF YOU CAN, TELL THEM THAT YOU CAN SET UP A SITTER FOR THEM (WHEREVER THERE STAYING) THE SAME TIME AS THE WEDDINGS IS. BLACK TIE! SOME PEOPLE NEVER UNDERSTAND "NO CHILDERN" MY OWN THOUGHT IS ONE CHILD IS TOO MANY WHEN I DONT WANT ANY THERE. I'M TRUELY INTO KIDS BUT THERES A TIME 4 EVRETHING. SOME BRIDES REGRETED NOT HAVING THE KIDS THERE AND SOME REGRETED THAT THEY DID INVITE KIDS AND SOME WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THERE FIRST CHOICE. I FEEL FOR YOU!

I am having my wedding at flowerfield in St. James, but it doesn't matter if the florist is in Nassau or suffolk.

They were completely different---partly because they were in different rooms-- The first wedding was great--for both the cocktail hour was in same room and was really nice-- I am not into ice sculptures but I remember everyone was talking about the one they had-- it was very creative--I remember a lot of the cocktail hour was creative--meaning the decorations--I think there was a boat made out of bread-- everything was very tasteful-- THe food was great at both-- like I said the one room was shaped better than the other but other than that there was no real problems---except I come from a large italian family so a viennese table is essential and all they had were trays of cookies!!--funny the things you remember-- and like i said there is another wedding coming up--or might have just passed-- if you have any specific questions I can ask them Hope that helps laura
Look, if you checked the archives you would know that this was a hot topic. One that we all finally moved past. Not attacking, just trying to avoid another blow up -
Look, my history onthis board is one of being most helpful. I am not going to respond to any more of your messages.
