Not to sound like a betch, but it could be a very valid reason if it's a religious thing, or if you're mixed religions and it's a way to honor one of them.
I wouldn't go for the fur though.

Lots of things that are shown on the run way are not ready to wear pieces. Some are just added for drama.... which this creates. I wouldnt wear it but I dont hate it either. I'm sure it would look fab in a day after shoot or something.

Yup. Reem Acra did something similar with detached sheer bell sleeves in Fall 2008.
I like the fuzzy hoodie. On the avant-garde bride it would really work!
