Re: FORGETABOUTIT

Just one, PS2, used to have PS1 and before that all the others, sega, nintendo, commodore 64, atari, etc.

My DH has all the games, Madden 2004 is now his fave, before that GTA Vice City. I dunno how many we have, we give the RPG games to ohers when they are finished... I like the car games myself (simpsons road rage!).

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

you should have kept all your rpgs, they are the only games that hold any type of value.
example
for super nintendo final fantasy 2 and 3 are worth up to 80 each

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

I guess but DH would ratehr give them to his nephews... so they can enjoy them too. We had colecovision (sp) hooked up in college so much fun we used to spend hours playing it... pitfall... dig dug...

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

coleco brings me waaaay back to my childhood
I never owned one but my uncle did and I would play all the time.

pitfall was a great game
pitfall 2 came out on the atari
that was even better

XBOX!!!

I am totally into RPG games (Morrowind is my favorite) and I can't WAIT for Fable to come out in January!!

My DH is more into stuff like James Bond, Splinter Cell, and Amped.... we LOOOOOVE our Xbox though!

Oh yeah, and I kick his bootie in Dead or Alive 2 but sometimes I let him win, just to make him feel better!!

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

wait.. old games have value???

I own now a PS2.
Our family has them all.. Nintendo, Super NES, N64, Sega (what's it called - It's thinking), PS, Gamecube & Xbox.

We like to play games in our house.
I dont know how many games we have.. We never throw them out or sell them, we put them in a box marked 'Old games' every now and then we grab one.

We still have our Atari 2600 as well. but only like four games. Instead I now download the emulators for my computer.

lend me the game!!
hehe The entire purpose of my computer is for gaming. I had it 'built' through Dell about 3 years ago. Pentium 3.

The requirements I had were a REALLY kickbutt video card, sound card and RAM/ROM cache availablity to swamp massive amounts of data without lag. I made sure to get my subwoofer positioned for great sound and a larger monitor. I love my computer. FH just bought his new computer last year.. and we had to put it in the closet. It wouldnt run the extended versions of Black & White or Diablo II. Well it would but not as well as mine!

ETA: I never thought my computer would maintain it's viable uses this long. Not even a windows reboot, yet. Then again, I am paying a little under $2500 for it, the least it can do is play all my games. I usually keep 4 RPGs active on my computer, currently it's Jedi Knight II, Diablo II - Extended version, Black & White - Creature Isle, Sims.. and well Wheel of Time, but that's boring.

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

yeah are you kidding old games from nintendo and sega are worth big buck these days, certain games though not all of course.
sega genisis and super nintendo are in my opion the best console systems to have ever came out.

a word about emulators
its getting tougher and toughr to find good roms, anyone know a good spot?
also you should try the gameboy advance emulator
download virtual boy. thats what the emulator is called, its great i recommend getting advance warz
great game

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

I was the sad kid who wanted Atari and ended up with 'Oddessey'!
Maybe that's why I can't get into vidoe games!

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

I played the 'hell' out of diablo 2
hahaha
I love that game
and black and white, my old computer used to play it so so, I played as much as I could stand of that game. it had sooooooo many bugs that by the time they came out with a patch I was already tired of the game. nobody with a via chipset or a nvidia card could play that game correctly.
I installed it recently and it plays great, Im running an n-force 2 board with geforce 4mx graphics intergrated. its not the best but it plays all the games I want for now. I plan to upgrade to a geforce fx deluxe in the near future

Re: FORGETABOUTIT

they're pretty cool! Fh plays it more than me though, i just don't have much time...
I just LOVE Bruce Campbell (and the movies) so i had to own them. Figured they're cheap anyway, so if they stink, its no biggie.
