Forgive Me....

... now that I am planning my own wedding I feel like I should ask for forgiveness for all my past wedding 'sins'!

-To Dave & Mo, sorry for bringing my infant son to your ceremony... I didn't think about how a baby in a tux might steal some limelight from the gorgeous bride.

-To Dar & Jeff, sorry for acting like a pissy ***** at the reception because in my drunken state I was POSITIVE my boyfriend was hitting on another wedding guest.

-To Karen & Mike, sorry that I responded yes and then responded no and then responded yes and then responded no and then responded yes all in a space of 2 weeks.

-To Janet & Joe, sorry that I refused to dance the ENTIRE night because my boyfriend at the time refused to move from the table..

-To Melissa and Craig, I am sorry that I never returned my response card. I forgot. Really.

-To Amy and Dirk, sorry that I didn't go for the fittings and wound up having to be sewn into my bridesmaid gown on the day of the wedding.


I was young. Now I am older. I swear I didn't realize how stressful all this stuff is!

I promise to take each of you out to dinner just to make up for it all!

We should rename this the confessions board. :)

I think we are all guilty of some of the things you mentioned above. :D

ooooh I forgot that one! When I was 15 I went to my brother's wedding and NOBODY TOLD ME that the bouquet was meant for another BM. Nobody was actually going to go for it. The bouquet flew and I reach out like a superstar and snatch it right out of the air - 2 centimeters from the intended recipients waiting hands!

Sorry for ruining the moment for the BM and for my SIL!

That is great. I have been having some of the same thoughts lately. Wow, I was BAD.

To almost every wedding I ever was invited to until I started planning my own:

I'm sorry I didn't send my RSVP back UPON RECEIPT to make your life easier!!!!

To all couples whose weddings I've been too...I'm sorry I take such full advantage of the open bar and can never remember the end of your weddings! At least I remember every wedding as being a blast!

To Aunt Kate, Aunt Mary, Aunt Jackie, and Mom,
I am sorry for being a pain in the A$$ when you wanted to take wedding pics.
Mom, I am so sorry for constantly complaining about the bustle on your dress, and for complaining about driving 9 times to the bridal shop because they didn't have my dress ready. This is a good way to let out some hidden guilt. I love it! Great idea.
