Forgot banks were closed today-need cash for hall!!
Ok, the final payment for hall is due in check but they want the gratuities in cash. I was all set to go to bank on lunch break and get cash out for tonight but forgot banks were closed. Do you think it will be ok if I ask them if I can drop off gratuity during the week? I feel so bad.

wait, you are dropping off your tips before the date of the wedding?? aren't you supposed to do that the night of?

i was going to ask that....i was told not to give gratuity until after the wedding is over..if they are good they get a god tip....

I'm pretty sure they meant to bring tips tonight too; it's at a KOC so it might be different than other catering halls.

Depending on what the $$ amount is, you could always use an ATM, but if it's over like $500 you may not be able to access it. So ATM/Debit cards have a $500 cash limit and a $1500 spending limit per 24 hours period and others are $1000 cash limit and $2000 spending limit. It just depends on your bank.

not necessarily. my DH withdrew 600 from my acct the day of the wedding for tips

A lot of banks are open to day. Chase is open as well as Commerce and I believe Citibank.

You know I could be panicking over nothing; they may just mean cash the day of for gratuity. I'll let you know how it goes tonight.
