I just took my epics today, and we had such a good time that at the end I forgot to tip him. Do you think it's ok to give him something when I pick up the pictures. I feel so dumb!

I didn't tip the photographer. Most of the girls on here say to just tip them at the wedding.

Yes, its definitely ok to give him something when you pick up the pics. We tipped ours $25. We just got a CD when we took ours and then developed them on our own.

I didn't tip mine. My 'tip' was my deposit for booking with them. Don't feel dumb! I've never heard of that.

Ive never heard of tipping for e-pics, but Im sure you can if you wanted to-I would not have thought to tip

Dont feel bad. I wouldnt think about tipping a photographer. I dont think you're even suppose to (unless you really wanted to) but paying for his/her time and the pictures is tip enough. IMO
Don't feel dumb. Some photogs don't even take the tip when you offer it to them. I'm sure he's not even thinking of it.

I did the same thing two weeks ago.... I wrote a check to the photog. and dropped it off with a thank you note at the studio. I wanted to drop the tip off with him because he is the one doing my wedding and he went above and beyond for the epics...

I wouldn'r worry it about it either. Tip him? It's his job, LOL! If you felt that the pics were that good once you receive them, you could give him a gift basket or gift certificate...

I didn't tip mine either. Reason being because if we wanted the proofs we had to pay for them so if I have to pay $50 for the 'FREE' epics then you're not getting a tip!!!!

we didn't tip...i'm paying an arm and a leg for peices of paper with my photo on them...tippings not necessary for eng. photos

My sister tried to tip the photog right before I had my pics taken (we have the same guy) and he refused to take it so then I knew not to-- He is also the owner. Like, my FFIL owns a car wash and he would NEVER take a tip.
So, IDK if that makes it different b/c if the photog is not an owner-- but hmmmm I wonder!
