Formal Dining Room Decorations

Well the movers just arrived from with my late Grandparents Formal Dining Room set! My parents moved it from Queens to there house on LI when my Grandparents died and now since my parents sold there home and downsized to NC and at the same time Joe and I bought a new home it was delievered to us!

But now I actually have a formal dining room which it is in but have no clue how to decorate the table.

My parents had it in our regular kitchen without the leaf so we ate on it daily so it wasn't decorated more then a floral centerpiece.

I haven't put the China or the Waterford in it yet, but I'm looking for input on what to do on the table?

I have Tiffany Candlesticks... lol

Ps. I'm in Florida so I need it to look somewhat Floridish as well.. lol

Wow, what a lovely set. Hmmmm.... Florida-ish..... how about a baby palm or bamboo plant with pillar candles???

Yup, that's what I was thinking. I also have plans of painting the wall the China Cabinet and wall with the shutters.

It's so much fun to have. I feel all grown up... lol

Plus I don't even know how much dining room sets costs but I know we couldn't afford one so it's so nice to have a family one that just fell into our hands. Plus my China is my Grandparents Noritake China that my Pop surprised my Nana with on their 25th Wedding Anniversary.

I'm just so excitied to have it!

It's great to have an heirloom piece with so much personal history.... I wish you many happy family dinners.

Oh that reminds me their is a Lenox outlet down here in Destin!

I'll keep you ladies posted!

Any other ideas or pictures anyone!
