Ok, I have to go to a Black Tie wedding next month and I need a gown. I like this one:
It's actually a bridesmaid dress but I like it. Am I going to look like a bridesmaid? Does it matter? I mean I won't have the bouquet obviously. Where can I get a gown in less than 5 weeks?

I think it is kind of short for a formal wedding. Also were you planning on going with light green? That seems a bit too 'summer' for september.

Try Lord and Taylor (the one in the city has a big selection) Bloomingdales or Macys. I've always had luck finding formal dresses at all of those places.

No, not that color. I was hoping for something darker.

Re: Formal Gown Help
Since it's a BM dress, wouldn't you have to wait a few months for it to come in? Or would you be able to just buy it outright?
I would also recommend Estelle's on Rte. 110. They actually have a pretty large selection, including shoes and jewelry.

I agree with Estelle's. I was there a few weeks ago and they had so many dresses.
