I don't think it's horrible and that people would be offended by it.. it's just not the proper way to write it. I wouldn't worry! Did you already address your envelopes? If so, what is done is done... don't stress it!

i did my parents name that way ...... i knew mr and mrs john smith was right but i wanted to do it a different way now i think i made a big mistake ....its already printed
