Former bride trying to plan bridal shower!

Hi Ladies

Hope you all are doing well and HAPPY PLANNING!

I'm a former bride from LIweddings trying to plan my sisters bridal shower. We decided on an Asian theme, but I'm having a very difficult time locating an asian restauarant that can accomodate a shower. Does anyone have any suggestions? I could really use the help and your input!

Thanks so so much!!

my cousin had her son's communion at one of those asian places (on OCR, Westbury) where they flip the food and cook it in front of you (cannot remember the name of it). The restaurant isn't too big (good) and you can rent it for the day.

we had a party once at jade palace in east northport.
they changed ownership since, so a taste test may be necessary.

definitely habachi grills - that could be fun!
there are some good ones in westbury/carle place - i think katejay12 is speaking specifically about the one across the street from costco. it is very good and has a nice private area if i recall.
there's also a nice sushi/habachi in freeport at nautical mile.
my favorite authentic sushi place on li is Sapporo in Wantaugh (just east of the Wantaugh pkwy on Merrick Rd). The waitresses all wear kimono's and they have tables where you sit on the floor.

not sure if you feel like traveling to queens but i know there are some FABULOUS chinese restaurants in Flushing Main Street in Queens; I've actually been to a wedding to one (i could find the name if you want).

the Haru brand of restaurants in manhattan are great too - and very nicely decorated (specifically the one on wall street).

best of luck! sounds like a lot of fun!

Not sure how far you want to travel, but there is a really nice Chinese restaurant, with great traditional decor, in Flushing, Queens. The place is called King Yum
