Where did you take pictures between the ceremony and the reception (if you went elsewhere to do them)? I have about 2 hours between and originally I was just gonna do them at CLM but my BFF pointed out that I have time to go somewhere else, but I'm not sure what's around. My wedding is in November, so I'm hoping for somewhere where there is foliage (am I asking for too much??) I think I'm rambling now. Any suggestions would be super helpful. TIA!!!

Two places: Inside the chapel downstairs (nothing was set-up in that room. and there's a park in Islip that we went to for pics as well (Brookward Hall Park right on Main street in islip).
I know a bunch of CLM brides took pictures out on the back deck (we couldnt because it rained) and a few went to Old Westbury Gardens.

argyle lake in babylon, there is a park with a gazebo in amityville not sure exactly where though, if you have two hours i am not sure if you want to take a trip to arboretum in e. islip depends where your church is.

Argyle Park is really nice and only about 10 minutes away from CLM.
I am making the trip and taking pictures at Old Westbury Gardens.
There is also Planter's Field which is nice and a little closer than OWG.

bellmont lake off of southern state.. don't know which town and its pretty over there. The beach is venietan (sp) shores. That is pretty close. Just a small beach really and parking lot but nice backdrop. Then again you have the pier/dock off of CLM that you can do picks at just its popular hang out spot on the weekends .. lots of crabbers and people like fh and i that just sit out there.

I think you're talking about Pearsall Park. Its about 10 minutes from CLM on Bayview Avenue in Amityville. Its gorgeous! We aren't using CLM, but we are going there for our pics. GettinHutched has some pics in her albums.
Its beautiful- you can get OWG type garden pics for less!!

Babylon Town Hall has a gazebo and a lake and some nice background as well
