Former Crest Hollow Brides

Were there any restrictions for picture taking the day of your wedding?

Did they take you around in a golf cart?

Overall, how were the gardens for picture taking?

I'm trying to figure out if I should go somewhere else for my picture in between the church and RH.

Hi! I got married there in May 2007. FM me if you want a fuller review.

1. We took photos before the ceremony, and were only allowed to show up at a certain time. I think it was 2-2.5 hours before the ceremony, IIRC. Other than that, not to my recollection. Was there something they had told you about? If so, let me know and maybe it'll refresh my memory.

2. Yes, before and after the ceremony. I can't recall if a golf cart took us out to photos, but I don't think it did.

3. Very pretty! We took photos around the fountain/pool, too.

yes, they take you around in a golf cart. they let you get there like 2.5 -3 hours before your event - the grounds are HUGE and there are so many different places to take pictures. Different backgrounds, etc.

I took pictures on CHCC grounds before our ceremony...it's HUGE there and so many options to choose from. Plus they allow you to come 3 hours prior to your event and I highly recommend it because the staff is there to make sure you're not running late...Once they see the time's getting closer to the ceremony they'll wrap things up for you and help you get prepared...I loved this because it took away so much stress from having to worry about the time on our own...

Thanks for the reply girls... A photographer that I met with told me that CHCC usually keep you in certain areas and don't let you go to certain areas.

I call CHCC and spoke with Eric and he told me that was absolutely untrue. So that and these reviews make me feel better.

Another question though, what do you do if it rains??

No need to go anywhere else for pics. My sister in law just got married there in October. Grounds and flowers are beautiful and they drove us around in golf carts. They even fed us hors duevers and had drinks during pics

if it rains, they say they have locations indoors that are lovely. I was never shown those locations, so can't vouch firsthand.

you can take pictures indoors, there are very very beautiful spots inside of CHCC that can take beautiful pictures. If your photographer has been to CHCC before and is really good he would be able to find those spots :)
however, some of the spots include the stairs where you first enter, the door by they swimming pool and even in your reception hall would be good for picture taken.

Also, whoever told you that CHCC doesn't allow you to go to certain areas outdoors, that's a complete lie. Like one of the posters said, they drove us around in golf carts and our food followed us...we always had something to eat and drink if we needed to.
